No Child Goes Hungry

In Hereford there are some very generous businesses supporting #NoChildGoesHungry by donating free meals and food supplies this half term. Please help to support their schemes or share this list with anyone who may need it.


The Spread Eagle are providing up to 2 free kids meals with any adult meal purchased during their food service times of 12-3pm and 6-9pm.

If you normally receive free school lunches, collect a free children's takeaway meal from Wildwood by calling 01432 808080, between 11am and 12pm to collect it  3 and 5pm the following day.

Email the Beefy Boys to arrange a collection of a free children's takeaway if you normally receive free school meals. They are also offering free kid’s meals to diners Mon-Fri between 12 and 3pm

Pick up a free packed lunch from La Madeleine, on Church Street, between 10am-12pm.

JJ and Little Dots on Bridge Street, have a 'Pay it Forward' scheme, simply take a post-it note for a pre-paid meal, donated by customers, from their board.

The Meze are providing hot or cold lunch boxes for those eligible for free school meals, from Tuesday to Friday between 10am and 2pm. Kids under 11 eat free in-house Tuesday to Saturday during this week.

Herefordshire Council are providing free food supplies for those eligible for free school meals through the community cafe The Living Room.

The Burger Shop are matching any donations made in their restaurant to provide fresh fruit and vegetables to Hereford Food Bank to support struggling families.
