Our board of directors is comprised of up to 10 volunteers from levy-paying or stakeholder businesses in Hereford, who are deeply passionate and focused on the commercial success of Hereford. The directors meet every two months to coordinate with the Hereford BID paid staff to ensure projects continue to run effectively.

Our Assistant Handy Person supports the BID team in maintaining and improving the city centre, helping with daily upkeep, event preparations and projects that enhance the environment for businesses and visitors.

Hereford BID Board

Our board members represent different sectors of the business community and include independent and national retail, hospitality, professional, leisure, public and property sectors. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the BID, for its financial management and for monitoring performance to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the information provided in this plan.

Directors are not waged and receive no compensation, financial or other. They meet every two months to ensure that the business plan is being delivered by the Hereford BID’s dedicated paid staff, consisting of a Chief Executive, Marketing & Projects Manager, Business Liaison and Projects Marketing Executive, and a two-person Handy Team.
