Re-fuel at Caffe Nero with a hot drink made from your choice of non-dairy milk. This popular Italian coffee chain, located in Eign Gate, offers Oat, Soya and Coconut Milk. Our go-to non-dairy option would have to be the Oat Milk Flat White! What's more, if you fancy something to accompany your coffee and satisfy your sweet tooth, Caffe Nero also have some great vegan cake options to discover too.

3. Tofu Burrito at Bao To The Broth (De Koffie Pot)

Last year, Bao To The Broth made De Koffie Pot their new home. Serving up Asian-inspired dishes, from Ramen to Bao Buns, at Left Bank Village, Bao To The Broth's incredible menu proves that vegan meals don't mean you're missing out on flavour. It was a close call with their Aubergine Bao Bun, but we decided on one of their Ko-Mex (Korean-Mexican) dishes: the Tofu Burrito. Packed with whipped tofu, avocado, kimchi-fried rice, beans and more, this is a must try for Veganuary!

4. 'The Great Imitator' at Nando's

Ok, stay with us on this one. We know Nando’s is synonymous with great tasting chicken dishes but did you know that they also have new, plant-based items on their menu? Perfect for those that love Nando’s trademark spices but want to try something different. Our pick would be the Great Imitator Wrap made with their signature pea-protein Peri-plant Strips, oh and maybe some Peri-Salted Chips on the side.

If spice and pea-protein aren’t up your street, then classic Italian restaurant chain, Zizzi, have some great vegan options for your next dinner out. Their dishes are warm, comforting and perfect for treating yourself on a cold January day. Our pick would be the colourful Rainbow Lasagne, filled with an array of vegetables and topped with pesto and breadcrumbs – yum.
