Get involved with the #LoveHereford campaign

This February, Hereford BID are running a new campaign - #LoveHereford - to encourage people to visit, shop, eat, drink and discover all there is to love about Hereford, while championing BID members throughout.

#LoveHereford – online

The campaign will run throughout the month, with regular business features on our Hereford City Life consumer channels and promotion of our exciting city centre event to boost footfall on Valentine’s Weekend. This is a great opportunity to showcase your business, so we encourage you to join in with our #LoveHereford campaign. Use the hashtag and tag us online so we can share your posts. Alternatively, send your Valentine’s offers, menus, or products you would like to feature directly to us. We are always happy to work with you to take photos or video as required.

#LoveHereford – event

Our Valentine’s event will take place on 12th February and run alongside the free parking offering we requested, courtesy of Herefordshire Council. This will apply to all council carparks, plus the Old Market and Maylord car parks, from midday.

The event will feature live music in High Town, a photobooth stand in the Old Market and aims to drive footfall into the city during what is typically a quiet time of year.

As a further incentive to encourage visitors into the city, we will be organising a giveaway hamper, filled with products from local businesses. The competition will be promoted at the event and shared on our social media pages, with the prizes mentioned and businesses tagged. If your businesses would be interested in donating anything for the hamper, we would love to hear from you. It’s a great opportunity for an exposure boost and to support the local community.
