The Courtyard are delighted to be hosting a week of inclusive, online workshops this summer.

Be A Star Week Online is a series of online workshops aimed at young people, aged 8-15 with or without additional needs and/or disabilities. The sessions will run daily from 10am–1pm on Monday 26–Friday 30 July.

The Be A Star Week Online workshops will introduce participants to a range of creative disciplines from music, drama and dance to arts and crafts and storytelling. By attending this week of workshops, participants will also complete their Discover Arts Award, a nationally recognised qualification.

Katrina Preston, who is running the Arts and Crafts workshop said “The Back to the Wild team are really excited to be involved in the Be A Star Week. This is not only a great new partnership for us to be working with The Courtyard, but also a great opportunity to reach a wider audience that we might not normally get to meet out in our woods at Hellens Manor. We are looking forward to bringing nature into each of the family’s homes through the power of zoom.... from planting a wild flower garden to enjoying a hot chocolate around a virtual fire!

”The Courtyard are committed to offering a comprehensive arts provision for all and regularly host relaxed performances and screenings in addition to inclusive participatory events. For more information about The Courtyard’s commitment to access and inclusion, visitcourtyard.org.uk/access
