Hereford River Carnival... A creative and unique event that lasts two days. A celebration of the River Wye that takes place on and beside the river. Around the city of Hereford on August bank holiday weekend each year, the event, run by volunteers, has grown and grown since its reincarnation in 2014. 

Since it was re-introduced in 2014, Hereford River Carnival has grown to become Herefordshire’s biggest feel good, community event – and it remains entirely free for the public.​

The Hereford River Carnival will be back for 2023 with a live event on the evening of Friday 25th August and all day on Saturday 26th August. There’ll be something for everyone and exciting new things to discover – music, dance, sport, arts, crafts, old fashioned games and mucking about on the river.
