The Courtyard Hereford, a nationally recognised arts centre known for presenting high-quality, community-focused productions, will stage Oliver! Jr. this May. From the team at Ludwig Theatre Arts that brought audiences Matilda JR and Les Misérables School Edition, Oliver! Jr. promises to be an unforgettable show for all ages.

Full of classic songs like Consider Yourself, Food Glorious Food, and Oom-Pah-Pah, Oliver! Jr. showcases the talents of Herefordshire’s young performers. Set in Victorian England, the musical follows the story of Oliver Twist, an orphan boy who escapes the workhouse only to be taken in by a gang of child pickpockets. Oliver navigates the streets of London, searching for love, family, and a place to call home.

Under the direction of Jack Ludwig, Director of Ludwig Theatre Arts, the cast has been hard at work rehearsing musical numbers and scenes since March. The Courtyard Hereford is committed to providing young people with opportunities to develop their talents and gain experience through high-quality performing arts education programs and productions.
