How to Enter:

All you have to do is nominate your favourite teacher via an over 18 (e.g. parent's) social media account by naming your favourite teacher and the school they teach at by commenting on Hereford City Life's Facebook or Instagram Teachers competition post.

Prizes:

The winning teacher will recieve a £50 Hereford City Gift Card. We will contact the social media account holder to arrange for you to present the prize to the winning teacher before term ends week commencing 29th June 2026. We will arrange a time for you to hand over the prize with our team.

Winning submissions will be contacted by direct message on Facebook or Instagram. You will have 24 hours to respond, or we will draw another winner. You must be available to attend the prize presentations on July 18th and 19th.

Terms & Conditions for Hereford City Life Hereford's Favourite Teacher Competitions.

The Promoter is Hereford City Life (HCL) is a brand of Hereford Business Improvement District.

1. The prize draw is open to all UK residents (except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion).

2. The social media account holder used to enter must be 18 or older. When contacted, the prize winner may be asked to provide proof of age (18 years of age and over).

3. The prize is as per the competition on Hereford City Life's marketing materials and social media posts. The prize is to be collected from the Hereford Town Hall. £50 Hereford Gift Card. No cash alternative offered.

4. The competition  dates are shown on Hereford City Life website and social Media pages. Instagram and Facebook accounts.

5. The winner will be notified by Direct message or comment on social media and must reply back within 24 hours or a new winner will be drawn.

6. There will be one winner from all eligible entries on the social media comments. The winner is selected at random from all entries.

7. By entering the competition, entrants agree to allow Hereford City Life to use their name in social media communications and possible press or marketing material referencing the competition. Unless told not to.

8. Following notification, the winner will receive full details of the prize and how to receive it. 

9. Any personal contact information you supply will be used only for the purposes of administering the prize draw.

10. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter. Accordingly, the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the promotion, and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result.

11. Prizes are non-transferable, and there are no cash alternatives.

12. The HCL Marketing Manager's decision will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

13. By participating in the competition entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

14. Entrants are liable for their own costs to access telephone, mobile or computer networks or for any postal correspondence.

15. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
