Hereford Indie Food Fest 2026 is BACK — and we're celebrating 10 years!

Join us at The Yard, Hereford, on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 August 2026 for a huge weekend celebrating everything that makes Hereford’s independent food and creative scene special.

With 25+ of the city’s best food traders and producers, live music from afternoon until midnight, guest chefs, family activities, a vibrant makers market and two unforgettable headline nights, this is set to be Hereford’s biggest weekend of the summer.

For families :

Start each festival day with family-friendly activities from 10:30am–12:30pm, including a Frozen Singalong on Saturday and Bhangra Kids with Sohan Kailey, star of BBC Bedtime Stories, on Sunday. There will also be face painting and interactive kids’ crafts.

Later in the day, explore the Makers Market, created in collaboration with Carnival Arts, with independent makers, colourful carnival parades and performances on the Jam Factory stage.

Kids under 12 go free all day, both days.

For food lovers:

Get ready to eat your way around Hereford with more than 25 independent food traders and producers, serving everything from bao and pizza to pasta, tacos, Japanese food, burgers and Caribbean-inspired dishes.

Expect favourites including Bao to the Broth, Leaven Pizza, Mia Via Pasta, Andy Low n Slow Tacos, Jin’s Japanese, Burger Shop and Jerk Bay, plus plenty more to discover.

Throughout the weekend, guest chefs will take to the fire stage for live cooking demonstrations, sharing their skills, recipes and food stories — with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and pick up inspiration.

For music lovers :

The music kicks off from 1pm and continues until midnight on both days, with local acts providing the soundtrack before two massive headline nights.

Saturday: Get ready for the ultimate 90s throwback party with Ibiza Brass and Kevin and Perry Go Large.

Sunday: Festival favourite Craig Charles returns to Hereford Indie Food, joined by Beatles Dub Club, for a huge Sunday finale.

Whether you're coming for the food, the music, the family activities, the makers or simply a brilliant summer day out, Hereford Indie Food Fest 2026 has something for everyone.
