You are welcome to bring along a favourite story based on animals, otherwise there will be a few extracts from stories and some animal printouts to look at for inspiration.

The workshop will start by talking about ‘Illustration’ and what it means, and then move onto the fundamentals of character development. You will create thumbnails for the extract of the story, possibly taking influence from the plants at Löv Leaf. Where finally, we will pick one of our favourite sketches and create an illustration.

You will be guided through the steps above, but you will also be encouraged to be as creative as you like and find your own style.

Any level welcome, if you have been creating art a little or a lot we would love to meet you and draw together.

All equipment will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be provided.
