The Courtyard Chase Lounge is set to relaunch

The Courtyard are thrilled to announce that its Chase Lounge bar and restaurant will relaunch on Thursday 3 March.

With new Head Chef Richard ‘Dickie’ Flynn at the helm, the restaurant will be serving a selection of small plates and nibbles, ideal for a romantic date night or a relaxed catch up with friends. The new menu will include staple dishes such as grilled flat iron steak, charred lamb flatbread, chilli salted crispy kale and chorizo scotch egg as well as a regularly changing assortment of specials.

“I’m looking forward to the new challenges ahead as we invest in what The Courtyard already does really well and in bringing something a bit different in the relaunch of the Chase Lounge” says Head Chef, Dickie Flynn. “We are also looking forward to warmer days and lighter evenings for customers to enjoy our new rooftop terrace.”

Dickie started his career in small independent restaurants, working towards two rosettes in the Scottish hotel chains flagship restaurant, First Floor in the Holland. Since then, he has worked in a mixture of small and medium sized fresh food restaurants and has developed a passion for seafood and Italian cuisine. In 2010 Dickie completed a degree in hospitality management which has given him a more rounded and complete knowledge of the hospitality sector.

Customers dining in The Courtyard Chase Lounge will also be able to enjoy a range of cocktails alongside their meals, including classics such as Mojitos, Espresso Martinis and Negronis as well as some contemporary mixes such as Grapefruit and Mediterranean Spritzs. A selection of mocktails will also be on the menu for those who want to add a bit of non-alcoholic luxury to their experience.

The Courtyard Chase Lounge originally opened in May 2021 with the support of local distillery Chase and was part of The Courtyard’s £1.5 million Capital Expansion Project, Transform The Yard. The project saw an extension of the mezzanine restaurant and brand-new rooftop terrace as well as a new Shop and multi-purpose room.
