Hosted on the LoyalFree app, using your phone’s GPS, you’ll be guided to 7 different locations where you can scan the QR codes to reveal the answers to each question. On Saturday 6th May, enjoy a delicious afternoon tea at the Green Dragon Hotel to mark the coronation. From coronation chicken sandwiches to scones there are plenty of tasty treats to enjoy alongside a delicious tea or coffee.
For an even more sumptuous feast, you could even book a High Tea or bottomless prosecco!
Coronation Weekend Celebrations at Hereford Cathedral
Hereford Cathedral warmly invite you to join them for their weekend of activities to celebrate the coronation. From exhibitions and concerts, to an Orchestral Eucharist and new pop up café on the Cathedral Close, there’s plenty to get involved with.
Host a Coronation party
Whether you are planning to be watching from the sofa with family, or celebrating in style with a lively street party, make sure you’ve got all your red, white and blue decorations ready. Find everything from Union Jack themed cups and napkins, to face paint and bunting at Ryman in Eign Gate.
Watch the Coronation on Castle Green
Supported by Hereford City Council, Hereford River Carnival are hosting their second annual Hereford Happening, with a special coronation-theme.
On Saturday May 6th, the coronation coverage will be brought to you via a giant screen located in the picturesque Castle Green, where you and your family and friends can bring a blanket and picnic to your heart’s content.
The day will also include plenty of fun activities, including free family workshops, live performances, a mini parade and more.
Watch the Coronation at The Loft Cinema
For those who prefer indoor viewing, come together with friends or family to watch history unfold from the comfort of one of The Loft Cinema’s sofas.
From 10am you can settle in to watch the live coverage of the ceremonial events and take advantage of the great food, hot drinks and bar available at the Loft. They are also hosting a Coronation Sunday lunch as part of their celebrations for the weekend.
