February half term is the perfect time to get out and about and enjoy everything Hereford has to offer. From creative workshops and family-friendly activities to live entertainment, cinema and sport, there’s plenty happening across the city to keep everyone entertained.

Hereford Cathedral

A visit to Hereford Cathedral is a great way to combine learning, creativity and fun during half term. Families can enjoy guided Tower Tours, offering a fascinating look at the cathedral from a whole new perspective.

For younger visitors, Messy Church on 19 February offers hands-on crafts, activities and stories in a relaxed and welcoming environment, making it a lovely half-term activity for families.

Make It Happen

For crafty kids this half term, Make It Happen is hosting a range of fun children’s workshops where little ones can create their own plushies. Options include a rainbow, avocado, and whale plushie, perfect for creative hands-on fun.

The Courtyard

There’s no shortage of entertainment at The Courtyard this half term. Families can enjoy a packed programme of movies on the big screen, alongside the much-loved pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, bringing laughs, music and plenty of magic.

They’ve also teamed up with Herefordshire Board Gamers to launch a brand-new board game evening. A small library of games will be available to play, or you can bring your own from home. It’s a free event, with drinks and street food bowls available to purchase throughout the evening for just £5.

Step into a world of imagination at The Old House Hereford this half term, where Folklore & Fairytales take centre stage. Families can explore themed activities and follow a fairytale trail through the historic house, bringing classic stories to life in a fun and engaging way.

Football fans can enjoy a matchday experience this half term as Hereford FC play at home on Saturday 21 February. A trip to Edgar Street is a great way to spend part of the half-term break, with a lively atmosphere that’s perfect for families and young supporters.
