Film & Theatre

Mice in a Matchbox are an electro acoustic folk-rock duo from Bromyard.

Sally Stamford is a well known vocalist featured in many bands such as the Loxley Trio and Jim Rolt is a musician with a rock and roll background. Together they produce an exciting sound described as progressive indie folk, that is        ‘upbeat’ and ‘exhilarating’.

The name Mice in a Matchbox was inspired by how the pair
felt when they sailed a small (32ft) Sailing boat across the Atlantic.

The band have played a host of festivals including
Nozstock, The Green Gathering, The Guadiana
International Music Festival, Hay-on-Wye's How The Light Gets in, and Glastonbury.

Mice in a Matchbox will be in The Courtyard’s Studio Theatre
on Saturday 19 November at 7.45pm. To book tickets, or for more information contact the Box Office on 01432 340555 or visit www.courtyard.org.uk.
