City Centre Entertainment Proves Huge Hit with Locals!

On Wednesday, Clockwork Ballerinas, Living Christmas Trees and live music filled the city centre with festive flair for shoppers as Hereford Business Improvement District delivered the next instalment of their Christmas Spectacular activities.

In partnership with Herefordshire County Council and Hereford City Council, Hereford BID have organised a programme of entertainment on key dates throughout December as part of their campaign to encourage local shopping and support Hereford’s businesses.

Members of the public were seen posing for photos with the walkabout performers, with many also stopping to take in the musical performances from acts including the Got2Sing Choir and John Cutler Band. Even businesses owners came out to enjoy the performances and congratulate the Hereford BID team on bringing together these fantastic performances.

C.V. Osborne Jewellers in Church Street said ‘The choir was full of fun and festive spirit. Brought so much joy to Church Street for the shoppers and the businesses. Always welcome to hear them anytime of the year.’

Hereford BID’s Christmas Spectacular continues this weekend (18-19th December) and on Wednesday 22nd December with even more walkabout performers and live music to bring festive cheer to the city centre.

Mike Truelove, Chief Executive for Hereford BID, said ‘we are thrilled to be able to provide these acts with the support of the County and City Councils. It’s great to see shoppers back in the city centre and enjoying their time here; we have been stopped by many families who have been really impressed with the calibre of the performers.’
