The Museum of Cider invites you to Perry Fest on Saturday 4th October, from 11am to 6pm.

For one day only, the museum will be re-branded as the Museum of Perry.

Celebrate the pear and its delicious drink, Perry, in a fun and educational environment.

Discover the Museum of Cider, an independent charitable museum nestled in the former Bulmer's cider factory on Pomona Place, Hereford. Founded in 1981 and established by cider pioneers to preserve this rich heritage, the museum boasts a nationally significant collection of cider-making history, spanning traditional techniques to modern brewing practices.

It's the only cider museum in the UK and offers a fascinating glimpse into cider production in Hereford and beyond.

Exhibits & Experience: Historic Cidermaking: Wander through the original champagne-cider cellars, explore the cooper's workshop, vat house, bottling hall, and discover tools like stone mills, presses, and vintage machinery.

Art & Archives: View rare 19th-century watercolours, engraved English lead crystal cider glasses, and other artefacts, including regional illustrations from the famed Herefordshire Pomona books

Interactive Visitor Experience: Enjoy oral histories, touch trails, dressing up in period smocks, sensory backpacks for quieter experiences, and engaging media displays. Children go free with a paying adult, but on Perry Day, adults go free as well.

This event is presented in partnership with the Three Counties Cider & Perry Association, CAMRA, Carnival Arts, Herefordshire BID, and Herefordshire Council.
