Our much loved charity duck race is back again, bringing some excitement and vibrancy to the city as 6000 yellow ducks are launched from Hunderton Bridge straight into the River Wye.

This yearly event has become quite a tradition with locals and an eye catching spectacle for visitors to the area. The procession of yellow bobbing ducks draws quite a crowd of cheering families shouting their encouragement from the riverbank. It’s a brilliant family focused event with all funds raised going to support local charities and good causes.

The event is scheduled for Sunday, 30th August 2026, @3.00pm at Hunderton Bridge in Hereford.

Run by the Hereford City Rotary Club, the event has become quite a tradition with locals and an eye-catching event for visitors.
