Step into the shadows and discover some of Hereford’s most intriguing and unsettling stories on our Hauntings and Horrors walking tour.

Join our storytellers for a fascinating 90-minute journey through Hereford’s past, exploring the history, folklore, legends and mysteries that have helped give the city its darker side. As you walk through the streets, you’ll visit locations with their own stories to tell and hear accounts of ghostly encounters, supernatural sightings, unexplained happenings and horrifying events from Hereford’s past.

From tales of restless spirits and strange occurrences to stories of tragedy, mystery and the macabre, the tour brings together the stories that have lingered in Hereford’s history and captured the imagination of generations.

Whether you are fascinated by local history, enjoy hearing a good ghost story, or simply fancy an unusual evening out, Hauntings and Horrors offers a chance to see Hereford from a very different perspective.

The tour begins at 7:30pm on Saturday 22nd August, departing from the Cathedral North Porch – Main Entrance. Please allow 90 minutes for the walking tour.

Accompanied 6–17 year olds £1
